A re-edit of my film “One Week.”
I like the cuts MUCH better in this one, but I had to scrap some of the footage and the monologue in the process. Let me know what you think!

One Week [2012]
This was the first digitally edited short I had to create for one of my assignments in Ryerson’s Film program. We had to record our own foley, script and sound effects. Shot on a Bell & Howell camera in 16mm Black & White silent film.

Like Mother, Like Daughter [2011]
A short film about the life cycle. It’s the classic “growing up” story, but with a twist. As a child, the character has a loving mother and role model to look up to. Her mother dies when she is a teenager, forcing her to make decisions on her own, as she no longer has someone to tell her what’s right and wrong. In tough situations, she tries to look for her mom’s guidance through an old photograph. Finally, as a mother, she stumbles upon her favourite teddy bear - a memory of her childhood and a gift from her mother. It helps her realize that she’s become a role model for her own child, just as her mother was to her.
